About us

Solna Adapted Primary School is located in the premises of Skytteholmskolan in central Solna. At Solna Adapted Primary School, there will be 8 classes until HT25, which study both subjects and subject areas. We have mentors, teaching assistants, and practical aesthetic teachers as part of our staff.

About the position

We are now looking for a subject area teacher for grades 7-9 with a full-time position (100%). Teaching at Solna Adapted Primary School is structured so that each class is taught with the support of teaching assistants. Classes consist of 6-12 students depending on the subject or subject area. We focus on accessible learning environments and differentiated teaching, and we work collegially on development within grading and assessment. We have a well-established Student Health Team that works closely with teachers and students, focusing on preventive and health-promoting efforts in the organization.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

• is a certified teacher
• is a trained special education teacher for intellectual disabilities
• has work experience as a class teacher in adapted primary school
• has experience in pedagogical work
• practices teaching based on science and proven experience that enables you to create good learning environments (didactic, emotional, and physical)
• has a positive attitude towards IT as a natural tool in both pedagogy and documentation
• is well acquainted with LGRA22 and we would like you to have knowledge of the adapted curriculum.

It is an advantage if you are familiar with alternative communication.
